GLOBAL Security Supervision and Management Program

The Security Supervision and Management Program is a statement of the Security Professional’s skills, knowledge, and abilities at an operational level. This certification evaluates 12 units of competency, covering 45 subjects relevant to the constantly changing environment of the security profession. Candidates for this Program must meet the following requisites: + One-year full-time security experience (part-time requires two years); + Not have been convicted of any criminal offense that would reflect negatively on the security profession, IFPO, or the certification program; and, + Sign and agree to abide by the IFPO Code of Conduct. In order to successfully complete the Security Supervision and Management Program, Security Professional must achieve a minimum of 70% on the SSMP proctored final exam. The Internationally recognized Security Supervision and Management Programis designed for security officers, team leaders, and supervisors who wish to demonstrate their competency in security and asset protection. Security Supervision and Management Program is for the career-oriented individual who is seeking advancement in this rapidly growing industry.
